Description

22247 17 JMe080189 DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS COLLECTING AND COMPACTING OF
REFUSE The present invention refers to a device consisting of a transversal aggregate of compacting plates united to a common shaft which is fixed in the inner part of a rear refuse loading opening, having an articulated and curved inner cover, placed on spiral springs, which effects its articulation when the excess of detritus being compacted blocks the course of the compacting plates mentioned, consequently the articulated cover is forced and in its turn presses on the spiral springs, the objectified articulation taking place which allows the freeing of the obstructing detritus, while the compaction operation of same being continued, the devices containing also an articulated plate of longitudinal compaction, said plate being actuated by a piston and having its actuation within the refuse collecting box, thus effecting the continuous collecting and compacting of refuse.
The present technology consists of a collecting box, coupled on a truck frame, having a refuse loading lateral opening, located at the front part of the collector, it being observed that the refuse deposited in said opening is pressed in a front-rear sense by a toothed plate with discontinuous action, as same is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder, the refuse being compressed against the rear part of the box and through that place it is expelled as a function of the rocking exerted by two hydraulic cylinders.
In the same technological area there is a collecting box, coupled on a truck frame, having a rear refuse loading opening, it being verified ime080190 that the refuse introduced in said opening is compacted in a rear-front sense by a compacting plate of discontinuous action, as same is actuated by a hydraulic cylinder, thus compacting the refuse against the frontal part of the collecting box, and the refuse being expelled by the drive of another cylinder of longitudinal action in a front-rear sense, which pushes the same compacting plate, thus the rocking of the loading opening being effected.
A collecting box is also known, coupled on a truck frame, which has a rear refuse loading opening, and the refuse introduced in said opening is compacted by means of two articulated plates, one for positioning and the other for compacting, driven by hydraulic cylinders, it being observed that the compacting operation is carried out on two manual controls with handles of discontinuous action, the refuse being compacted against a transversal plate in a rear-front sense, the plate being controlled by a hydraulic telescopic cylinder and the expelling of the refuse being effected by the return of the plate mentioned to the rear part of the collector and the rocking of the loading opening.
Finally there is a collecting box, coupled on a truck frame, having a rear refuse loading opening, the refuse being introduced through this opening is compacted by the angular alternative movement of a vertical position plate or fin, which effects trajectories of approximately 180, responsible for the loading and compacting of refuse against a transversal plate on a rear-frontal sense, this plate being controlled by a hydraulic telescopic cylinder, the expelling of the refuse being produced by the return of the plate mentioned to a k ime080190 the rear part of the collector and by the rocking of the loading opening.
The device for collecting and compacting of refuse which is the object of the present invention, has been specially developed to allow the continuous collecting and compacting of refuse (residues), being a technological advance allowing greater speed, efficacy and safety in a collecting box coupled to a truck frame, which can be better understood looking at the enclosed drawings, representing the following figures:
Figure 1, showing a lateral view of a refuse collecting box, the mechanical transmission also appearing.
Figure 2, showing a transverse section of the refuse collecting box, where some of the proposed devices appear.
Figure 3, showing a detail in perspective of the loading opening.
Figure 4, showing a rear view of the refuse collecting box, where the mechanical transmission is seen.
According to the illustrations in the figures, the device for continuous collecting and compacting of refuse consists of a transversal aggregate composed by compacting plates (1) radially and at equal distances on the same transversal shaft (2) fixed on opposite sides (3) of the lateral parts of a rear loading opening (4), which has an articulated, curved, lower cover (5), with rear and upper hinges (6), and which is positioned on spiral springs (7), fixed on the upper part iMe080190 by means of a vertical axle (7-A) to a support welded to the external lower part of the cover (5), which has its articulation in a continuous reciprocating movement, caused. exclusively when an excess of detritus is produced in compacting, which detritus hinder the course of the plates (1), the continuos reciprocating movement being allowed by the hinges (6), adjusted on transversal and conventional axles, fixed on the rear and lower part of the opening (4), and by actuating the same cover (5) on the springs (7), allowing the freeing of the obstructing detritus, which will be compacted immediately afterwards.
Each compacting plate (1) is formed by segments of enveloping profiles (1A), presenting among them regular extensions, which in the movement of continuous rotation of the plates (1), allow that same pass through cleaning forks (8) fixed on the upper part in the structure of the loading opening (4).
Said cleaning forks (8) are static and have a double function, i.e. they are responsible for the cleaning of the plates (1) and for directing the refuse or detritus to an articulated plate of longitudinal compaction (9) which is fixed in a horizontal sliding guide (1), the plate being driven by a piston (11) and having its actuation within the refuse collecting box.
The transversal aggregate of compacting plates (1) is driven by a hydraulic motor (12), which receives energy from a pu p (13) driven by the power intake of the vehicle, this energy being distributed by means of control and safety valves.
Z iMe080190 At the end of the shaft of the hydraulic motor (12) there is coupled a gearing (14) which by means of chain (15) transmits a movement of rotation to a second gear (16) solidary to a third gear (17), both (16 and 17) being mounted on a common shaft; it is verified that the third gear (17) transmits by means of another chain (18) a rotating movement to a fourth gear (19) coupled to the transversal shaft (2) of the transversal aggregate of compacting plates (1), which transmits to same the rotating movement.
The described mechanical transmission can be optionally constituted by an aggregate of gears toothed rack, driven by a hydraulic cylinder.
The piston (11) is driven by a handle of the hydraulic control of the vehicle, originating initially the movement of the lower part of the articulated plate of longitudinal compaction (9), which lowered picks up the refuse compacted by the plates (1), thus taking place the advance of the aggregate of the articulated plate (9) in a rear-forward direction by means of the sliding guide (10) and this in the interior of the collecting box, thus completing the compaction of the refuse or detritus.
The articulated plate (9) will be of bent sheet with angular profile, its upper part resting united by means of hinges (9-A) to a rectangular molding (9-B), this aggregate having its motion within the refuse collecting box.
