222,446. Schneider et Cie. Sept. 28, 1923, [Convention date]. Addition to 209,055. Recoil apparatus.-Relates to multi-barrel guns, as described in the parent Specification, in which an even number of barrels are so arranged in pairs, or equal groups, that the energy of recoil of one barrel, or barrel group, is utilized to run out the other barrel, or group, the hydraulic brakes F, G of the respective barrels or groups being for this purpose connected by a passage H for the pressure liquid. According to the present invention, the passage H also leads to a cylinder I, forming part of an hydraulic or hydro-pneumatic device which absorbs shocks when the liquid is passing, and replenishes any loss of liquid.
