Abstract

222,109. Ajasson de Grandsagne, P. L. F. M. Sept. 17, 1923, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Steering-gear; deflectable axle-ends. - The steering stub-axle F is of the kind fixed to a vertical pivot C sliding under the control of a spring D in the forked ends of the fixed axle B, and according to the invention the wheel is steered by a link N pivoted to a rotary bush A carrying a rod S passing through a. hole in an arm T fixed to the stub-axle pivot. The bush A and the part of the pivot C sliding within it may be of non-circular section as shown, or they may be circular. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which the rod S for each steering-wheel is extended to within reach of the driver, the two rods being connected together by a link forming a steering bar. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
