Abstract

A hinge for a lidded container such as a fishing tackle box, comprises two hinge leaves (12,22) adapted to be connected by a hinge pin, wherein the first leaf has apertures for enabling its screw fixing to the container base and the second leaf has opposed hook like fittings (26,28) for enabling its snap fitting with a protuberance on the peripheral wall of a tray-like lid. Alternatively the hooked leaf may be attachable to the base. Formations (36,38) limit the opening angle of the hinge. <IMAGE>
