Abstract
A shoe and a method of shoe production is characterized in that the shoe upper is connected with one track part of a sliding clasp fastener and the shoe sole is connected with the other track part of the same sliding clasp fastener whereby the upper and the sole are assembled to form the complete shoe by drawing together the track parts by means of the sliding ciasp. Thereby various styles of upper may be selectively assembled with a particular sole. <IMAGE>
Description
"IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO FOOTWEAR"
The present invention relates to outer footwear, hereinafter referred to for convenience as 11shoes", which people wear in daily life, and more particularly, to a method of production of shoes.
Shoes are essential to the daily life of modern people.
Even though the style of present shoes may vary greatly, their versatility is still relatively unique to the shoe.
The object of this invention is to overcome the aforesaid shortcoming, by the provision of shoes which are assembled by means of sliding clasp fasteners and to a method for the production thereof.
With the introduction of such form of shoes, people can select uppers and soles of the same size and assemble the shoes required by means of sliding clasp fasteners in accordance with the type or style required. In this way, the versatility of a pair of shoes can be expanded.
The shoes of this invention are characterized in that the upper is connected with one part of a sliding clasp fastener track whereas the sole is connected with the other track part whereafter the complete shoe is assembled by drawing together the two parts with the sliding clasp of the fastener.
The production method for such shoes comprises the following procedures: a) connecting one track part of a sliding clasp fastener with the upper; b) connecting the other track part of the same sliding clasp fastener with the sole; c) selecting an upper and sole of the same size in accordance with the type or style of shoes required; d) assembling said selected upper and sole by drawing together the two track parts of the fastener by means of the fastener clasp to form a complete shoe.
It can be seen from the above that the thus assembled shoes of this invention can be manufactured with the existing production facilities and techniques for ordinary shoes. Moreover, the mode of assembling such kind of shoes is reasonable and convenient to operate.
Besides, people can select at their will, in accordance with the types and styles they need, suitably sized uppers and soles of various styles or types and assemble them with a sliding fastener to form an entirety so as to expand the modes of use of a pair of shoes.
There follows a detailed description of the present invention by reference to the accompanying drawings.
In these drawings:
Figure 1 shows the upper and sole of a shoe each affixed with a track part of a sliding clasp fastener;
Figure 2 is a shoe assembled by combining the upper and sole by use of a sliding clasp fastener as shown in
Figure 1.
In manufacturing this kind of upper and sole, the two track parts of the fastener can be sewn or stuck onto the upper and sole respectively, or the two track parts of the fastener can be integral respectively with the upper and sole for example by a moulding operation.
When the shoes are being assembled, uppers and soles of the same size produced by any of the above methods may be matched freely to form complete shoes, thus making shoe assembly and production more convenient.
