Abstract

The mirror is reflective in parts and not 100% of the usual reflective surface area. It is for use on vehicles as either an internal or external mirror to thereby allow limited forward visibility and so improving safety. <IMAGE>

Description

C"THRU MIRROR DESCR I PT I ON This invention refers to a PARTLY Mirrored Mirror.
Rear View Mirrors in Vehicles, both internal and external (wing) create blind spots when driving and or manoeuvring and therefore pose potential hazard conditions by obscuring forward visibility of the driver of the vehicle.
According to the present invention, by using rear view mirrors either internal or external that are PART MIRRORED the forward vision of the driver is improved whilst the rear view vision is not significantly impaired.

Claims (3)

1-) A SEE THROUGH mirror so constructed as to be reflective or mirrored in parts or sections rather than 100% of the usual reflective area.
2) n SEE THROUGH mirror as claimed in claim 1 wherein the reflective and or non~reflective parts can be of regular geometric or other shapes.
3) A SEE THROUGH mirror as claimed in claim t or claim 2 wherein the reflective and or non~reflective parts can be of irregular geometric or other shapes.
