Description
A VIBRATING TYPE POWDER COATING MACHINE
FOR COATING SMALL BODIES
The present invention relates to a new plastic powder coating machine which is characterized in that the rotation of eccentric shaft and the vibration of sympathetic springs produce a three-dimensional vibration to keep vibrating disc continuously vibrating wherein the vibrating disc is filled with plastic coating powder and the preheated small coating bodies can be well coated with coating powder in the vibrating disc with no tract of contact point and can be forced by vibration to move ahead to outlet for collection.
The said vibrating disc is characterized by its slant upward powder coating screening plate which is to vibrate the well coated small coating bodies to shake down superfluous coating powder through screening holes to plane plate for continuous use.
Recently plastic powder coating technic has become a major method for the process of metal coating.
Prevailingly static electricity spray painting and hook impregnation are still not good enough since the contact point of power line and hook should be treated again for secondary repair which will waste time, increase cost slow down the production and furthermore interrupt the integrity of the coating.
The present invention is mainly to provide a powder coating machine, especially a machine which uses a three-dimensional rotating vibration principle to enable the preheated small coating bodies be fully coated with plastic coating powder in vibrating disc so that economic effect can be expected.
Another object of the present invention is the provision of vibrating type powder coating machine for coating small bodies which makes use of vibrating method to push small coating bodies be well coated in integrity without the application of static electricity or hook impregnation so as to reduce the consumption of power supply and reduce the cost of the machine, and which is very practical for coating any shape of coating bodies especially for those coating bodies not applicable to hook impregnation method.
Another object of this invention is to provide a vibrating type powder coating machine for coating small bodies wherein the vibrating type of coating method can perform a seamless coating technic to keep the coated surface be in integrity and beauty.
A yet further object of the invention is generally to provide a vibrating type powder coating machine for coating small bodies wherein the slant upward powder coating screening plate of the vibrating disc is to shake down the superfluous coating powder of the coated small coating bodies through its multiple screening holes to plane plate for continuous use.
In order that the invention may be better understood, a preferred embodiment will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying diagrammatic drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of the present invention;
Figure 2 is a perspective view of the present invention;
Figure 3-A is a perspective front view of the vibrating disc of the present invention;
Figure 3-B is a cross-sectional view of the mechanical structure of the present invention; and
Figure 4-A and 4-B are drawings showing the process of the mechanism of the present invention.
Referring to the drawing of Figure 1, the vibrating type powder coating machine comprises superiorly a vibrating disc 2, inferiorly a stand 3 and an eccentric shaft Swherein the top end of the eccentric shaft 5 is plugged into a bearing 41 connected to the bottom of the vibrating disc 2 and the down end of the eccentric shaft 5 is plugged into another bearing 42 fixed in the central part of the stand 3 so that the motor 6 inside the stand 3 can drive the eccentric shaft 5 to rotate and vibrate the vibrating disc 2. The present invention is also characterized by the multiple compressed springs 7 symmetrically located between the upper surface of the stand 3 and the bottom surface of the vibrating disc 2.
The stand 3 is firmly fixed to the ground and the eccentric shaft 5 is characterized by its convex part 51 and 52 located outside of the fixing position 411 and 421 for said bearing 41 and 42 so that the rotation of motor 6 can produce a two-dimensional lateral vibration which makes the springs 7 produce a three-dimensional vibrational in multiple direction.
The vibrating disc 2 is characterized by its peripheral wall encircling its circumference and also characterized by its cored convex part in rounded shape in the center for the eccentric shaft 5 to make eccentric rotation so that to make three-dimensional vibration possible. The inner surface of the vibrating disc 2 is divided into a plane plate 21 and a extending slant upward powder coating screening plate 22 wherein the peripheral wall 221 of the vibrating disc 2 and the side wall 222 of the screening plate 22 forms an outlet 23.
Referring to the drawing of Figure 2, the coating process is performed in such a manner that a large volume of plastic coating powder is filled in the plane plate 21 for preheated small coating bodies to dump into. Because of the temperature of the small coating bodies has reached the melting point of the plastic coating powder the uninterrupted vibration of the vibrating disc 2 makes the plastic coating powder evenly cover the whole outer surface of all amall coating bodies, wherein the vibrating rotation of the eccentric shaft 5 forces the fully coated small coating bodies move ahead toward the screening plate 22 where the superfluous coating powder is shaken down by vibration through screening holes 223 to plane plate 21 for continuous use and the evenly coated small coating bodies are continuously forced to move out of the outlet 23.
Rrferring te the drawing of figure 3-A, the vibrating disc 2 -is divided into a plane plate 21 which is covered with plastic coating powder for coating small bodies, and a coating powder screening plate 22 which is characterized by its multiple screening holes 223 to screen superfluous coating powder for continuous use and which is also characterized by its outlet 23 formed by peripheral wall 221 and side wall 222.
Referring to the drawing of figure 3-B, the motor 6 fixed inside the stand 3 drives the eccentric shaft 5 to rotate in same direction so that the centrifigual rotation effect of the eccentric convex part 51 and 52 can make the vibrating disc 2 produce two-dimensional lateral vibration which vibration causes every compressed spring 7 to vibrate the vibrating disc 2 and produce a three-dimensional vibration so as to force small coating bodies move ahead and upward and come out of the outlet 23.
Referring to the drawing of Figure 4-A, it shows the coating process performed in the vibrating disc 2 wherein the preheated small coating bodies 8 are thrown into the plastic coating powder 9 on the vibrating disc 2 and the process is completed in such a manner that the melting effect and the uninterrupted vibration enable the small coating bodies 8 be fully covered with plastic coating powder and then be moved forward to the front of the coating powder screening plate 22.
Referring to the drawing of Figure 4-B, the fully coated small coating bodies 8 are vibrated upward to the coating powder screening plate 22 where the superfluous coating powder is shaken down through the screening holes 223 to powder coating plane plate 21 for continuous use so as to save the material.
To view generally all the above mentioned, the present invention has a practical effectiveness of high production speed and can perform a seamless coating technic and it is easy and economic to manufacture. The experiment proves excellent.
