Seat bottoms and backs; spring supports for seats. - In motor vehicle &c. seats of the type wherein the seat is in one piece with the back, or is connected thereto, and is sprung in such a manner that the seat and back partake of the same up and down movements when in use, the seat fabric a and back fabric b are connected to a plate i which is supported by springs m from the back framing, which may be part of a partition o or a support mounted on the floor. The plate i is slotted and coacts with the spring-supporting bar l to form a guide.
