Abstract

220,523. Woods, S. G., and Dunton, A. S. Nov. 21, 1923. Vdporizers, external.-Fuel vapour is supplied to the induction pipe d to facilitate starting from a reservoir A having a filler opening a, and fitted with an electric heating device placed in a separate chamber so as to be out of contact with the fuel. The heater may be situated in a chamber g beneath the reservoir, or may be contained in a chamber within or surrounding the reservoir. To ensure that the fuel is heated only when the ignition circuit is broken a switch arm m is provided which is adapted to bridge either contacts n in the heater circuit, or contacts p in the ignition circuit.
