Switchboard details.- frame for a sectional panel board for wireless or other apparatus comprises members detachably connected with each other by junction pieces in such a manner that the frame may be extended in either direction to accommodate additional panels. As shown in Figs. 1 and 4, the frame is built up of split tubular members A which are sprung on to junction pieces B and locked therein by indents D engaging grooves C on the limbs of the junction pieces. Central section junction pieces have four limbs, while pieces for the sides and corners of the board have three and two limbs respectively. In a modification the junction pieces B<1>, Fig. 6, are hollow and the limbs are sprung over the frame members, which may be solid. The frame members and the junction pieces may be locked by spring tongues stamped out of the walls of the frame-members and engaging notches in the junction pieces. Each panel E, Fig. 8, supports pillars G carrying latches I, which engage the rear side of the frame and pull the panel tightly into position aga.inst the frame when the nuts H are screwed home. In a modification, the panels may have metal straps projecting reawardly and having cams co-operating with the rear face of the frame. Lateral movement of the panels may be avoided by the engagement of lugs on the straps with slots in the front of the frame. In a further modification a stirrup passing around the frame member and detachably connected at its ends to adjacent straps may hold the panel in position by means of a pin engaging the rear side of the frame. In another form spring controlled plungers projecting through the side walls of the frame members engage holes or slots in straps carried by the panels. Specification 225,043 is referred to.
