Claims

1. A device for displaying artwork, com- prising a backing board surrounded by a frame, one side of the frame being removable to allow a sheet of artwork to be inserted in a direction parallel to the backing board, the removable side being connected to the back- ing board by releasable means.

2. A device as claimed in claim 1, in which the removable side has mitred ends which bear against corresponding mitred ends of the adjacent sides of the frame.

3. A device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, in which the releasable means urges the remova ble side towards the opposite side of the frame.

4. A device as claimed in any of claims 1 to 3, in which the releasable means comprises snap fitting connectors spaced along the removable side and the corresponding edge portion of the backing board.

5. A device aselaimed in claim 1, in which the releasable means comprises a sliding connection.

6. A device as claimed in any preceding claim, in which the edge of the backing board adjacent the removable side has a recess to facilitate removal of a sheet of artwork.

7. A device as claimed in any preceding claim, in which the frame has an internal peripheral flange which abuts the rear of the backing board.

8. A device for displaying artwork, substantially as described with reference to, and as shown in, the accompanying drawings.
