Angle-measuring instuments.-A knob 2 and shaft 1 impart the coarse adjustment to a rotating body, a second knob 13 being provided for effecting a fine adjustment. On the shaft 12 of the knob- 13 is eccentrically mounted a circular cam 11 provided with a circular groove in which the two prongs of a fork 9 engage. This fork is attached to an arm 4 through which the shaft 1 passes and which is frictionally connected thereto by Washers- 5, 6 and a spring 7.
