Abstract

216,550. Cox, C. W. Jan. 27, 1923. Fuse boards.-A fuse box A contains one or more rows of fuse bases B each row being threaded on a bar C which is pivoted to the box at one end and is detachably connected to the box at the other end as bv a screw e<1>. The pivotal connection comprises an L-shaped piece c<2> fixed to the bar C and pivoted to a bracket D at c<1>. The piece c<2> may be of insulating material, but it is preferably of metal and the bracket D is insulated from the box. Each fuse base B. Fig. 4, has sockets F, G for the pins M of its fuse carrier 0. The sockets F of a row of fuse bases, screw into a common bus-bar H provided with a terminal h<1>, whilst the sockets G are each provided with a terminal K and, for purposes of alignment with the pins M, fit loosely in the bases B.
