Abstract

The invention converns an atomizer system, for example for use in a pigsty or in wood industries, wher a constant air humidity is required, and consists of a windhouse (5), in which electric motors (6) are mounted at opposite ends thereof. The electric motors (6) have fitted thereon rotor blades (2), which rotor blades expel air through the ends of the windhouse (5) around atomizer units 1 mounted outside the windhouse (5). Water is supplied through pipe 8, pump 10, and magnetic valve 3 to pressure tubes 4, which raise the pressure to about 12 bar, and hence to the atomizer units 1.

Description

**WARNING** start of DESC field may overlap end of CLMS **.
SPECIFICATION An atomizer system
Description The present invention concerns an atomizer system for use for instance in pigsty or in the wood industry or similar places, where it is required to obtain a homogeneous humidity of air.
The atomizer system can, as an example, be used in the pigsty, where the humidity of air has to be about 55-65%, this to avoid that the mucous membranes of newborne pigs dry out, which among other things result in a large mortality among the pigs, or the pigs will be uneasy, and with that is also achieved a very bad growth among the pigs.
The atomizer system can also be used in other places, for example in the wood indus try, in which the atomizer system results in that the timber, which are prepared and re treated for example for windows and doors or other products, do not dry out.
According to the invention there is provided an automizer system wherein the water from an exisiting water pipe through a pump is de livered to atomizer units centrally of a wind house at opposite ends thereof via a pressure tube, one end of which is connected to a magnetic valve mounted on the windhouse.
The atomizer system may be electronically controlled, which means that the controlling electronics is adjusted beforehand to the exact humidity of air, which is preferred in the room or the rooms, halls or other places, where the system is desired to be used.
An embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with refer ence to the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing an atomizer system com prises a controlling unit, which is not shown on the drawing, and which can be adjusted beforehand to the air humidity required. A windhouse 5 comprises two imperforate end sections in each of which an electric motor 6 is mounted, on which electric motor 6 rotor blades 2 are fitted. Between the imperforate end sections there is a perforate middle sec tion for entry of air into the windhouse 5, the rotor blades 2 serving to expel air out of the ends of the windhouse 5. On the windhouse 5 is mounted a magnetic valve 3, to which a quantity of water is supplied, via an existing water pipe 8, a pump 10 and a pressure tube 4, with a pressure of about twelve bar. This quantity of water is delivered through two fur ther pressure tubes 4 from the magnetic valve 3 to two atomizer units 1, which are mounted centrally outside, respectively at opposite ends of the windhouse 5. As the quantity of water is discharged through these atomizer units 1, into the air flow expelled from the ends of the windhouse 5 the air is humidified to the re quired extent.
CLAIMS 1. An atomizer system wherein the water from an existing water pipe through a pump is delivered to atomizer units mounted centrally of a windhouse at opposite ends thereof via a pressure tube 4, one end of which is connected to a magnetic valve mounted on the windhouse.
2. An atomizer system according to claim 1, wherein the pump increases the pressure of water to a pressure of about twelve bar.
3. An atomizer system according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the windhouse are mounted two electric motors and on to which electric motors and rotor blades 2 are fitted to expel air past the atomizer units.
4. An atomizer system substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
