Abstract

The carriage, for the boring of vertical or inclined bores, travels on caterpillar tracks 1 and has a height- adjustable mount 6 equipped with a boring tool at the side of the carriage, this boring tool mount being carried by means of a parallel linkage 5, 11, 15, 16 on a support 8 that is in turn mounted on the carriage on runners 9 for traverse in the longitudinal direction of the carriage. Hydraulic cylinders 17, 18 coupled to the parallel linkage are provided both for varying the lateral position of the boring tool mount in relation to the carriage and for tilting the mount. For transportation, the boring tool mount can be lifted over the carriage and swivelled about a transverse bearing axis 20 so that it does not project laterally beyond the carriage. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Boring carriage, in particular for the perforation of floors in mining The invention relates to a boring carriageforthe boring of vertical or inclined bores, in particular for the perforation of floors in the field of underground mining, with caterpillar travelling gear, and with a frame on which a swivelling boring arm is connected, with a height-adjustable boring mount, which carries a boring tool and is connected with the boring arm, in which this mount is movable by means of drives which are actuated by pressure medium.
In mining, it frequently happens that excessive internal stresses occur in the seams. To avoid this, the floor has to be perforated, ie. holes are bored into the floor one after the other and/or adjacent to each other, whereby a type of perforation is formed.
The devices of the type described above for the boring of holes are known for example from the DE-PS 26 08 278 and from the DEMOS 18 11 749.
These known boring carriages are suitable, above all, for the boring of bore-, shot- or armature- holes.
In orderto be able to bore a greater number of exactly parallel bore-holes of greater length and several paraxial holes both in the direction of travel and also transversely to the direction of travel, the boring carriages or respectively the caterpillar travelling gear have to be set in motion. This causes many difficulties, particularly in mining, because the boring carriages, which are to bore metre-deep holes, in each case have to travel forwards or respectively downwards in stages, or have to turn around in order to bore the next hole. This mode of operation is time-consuming.
The invention is based on the problem of creating a boring carriage with which several bore-holes may be bored out from one position of the boring carriage. Afurther problem consists offurther developing these boring carriages so that from the position of the boring carriage an alignment of the bore-holes which are to be made is also made possible, without the location of the mount thereby having to be changed.
According to the present invention, the boring arm carrying the mount is attached, so as to swivel, to a bearing support, which is arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the boring carriage thereon, and the mount is movable relative to the boring carriage both in the direction of travel and also transversely to the direction of travel. The advantageous boring carriage according to the invention makes it possible to bore out bores in a straight line. This occurs by the displacement of the bearing support in the direction of travel via a hydraulic cylinder.
A parallel guidance is achieved by way of a linkage, which is arranged between a forkhead and a mount guide, and consequently a parallel movement of the mount is achieved on actuation of the hydraulic cylinder.
One embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig. 1 shows a boring carriage according to the invention, in plan view, Fig. 2 shows the boring carriage according to Fig.
1 in sectional view Il-Il, Fig. 3 shows the boring carriage according to Fig.
2 in view with a partial section, but with the mount displaced.
As Figures 1,2 and 3 show, the boring carriage in its basic structure consists of two caterpillar travelling gear parts 1, which are connected via a tubular swing axle 2, whereby each caterpillar travelling gear 1 has its own driving traction motor 3, a fixed central frame 4, a bearing support 8 movable thereon transversely to the longitudinal axis of the boring carriage, on which support a swivelling boring arm 5 is articulated, and of a height-adjustable mount 6, which carries a boring tool 7.
The bearing support 8 is able to be displaced by means of runners 9 on the central frame 4 in its longitudinal direction. The coordination of movement of the caterpillar travelling gear parts 1 is achieved by way of two hydraulic cylinders 10 connected so as to communicate, and which in each case are articulatedly connected on one side with the central frame 4 and on the other side with the caterpillar travelling gear 1. The mount guide 11 is connected via an axis 12 with the boring arm 5, which in turn is mounted so as to swivel in the bearing support 8 by way of an axis 13. The mount 6 is able to be displaced in the direction of travel at the same time, together with the boring arm 5, drives operated by pressure medium and the bearing support 8, by means of a hydraulic cylinder 14.
Associated with the boring arm 5 are a forkhead 15 and a linkage 16, whereby the linkage 16 is articulatedly arranged beneath the boring arm 5 and also between the forkhead 15 and the mount guide 11. The mount 6 can be raised or lowered in the vertical by way of a hydraulic cylinder 19 (Fig. 3) which is arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis on the mount 6.
Above the bearing support 8 a hydraulic cylinder 18 is arranged parallel to the swing axle 2, which cylinder is connected on one side to the boring arm 5 and on the other side to the bearing support 8.
This hydraulic cylinder 18 swivels the boring arm 5 with the mount 6, whereby the position of the axes 13 and 13.1 and 12.1 to each other is maintained.
Through this parallelogram 12-5-13-13.1-16-12.-1, on actuation of the cylinder 18, a parallel motion of the mount is achieved.
Beneath the upper part of the bearing support 8 a hydraulic cylinder 17 is arranged parallel to the swing axle 2. This hydraulic cylinder is articulatedly connected on one end to the bearing support 8 and on the other end to the forkhead 15.
Hereby, the entire boring mount unit can be swivelled overthe caterpillartravelling gear 1.
The mount 6 is mounted with respect to the mount guide 11 such that it is rotatable about the axis 20 transversely to the direction of travel by means of a hydraulic cylinder 21.
On transportation of the boring carriage, the entire boring mount unit is swivelled over the caterpillartravelling gear 1. Then this unit is rotated about the axis 20 by means of the hydraulic cylinder 21,so that the unit does not project over the travelling profile.
