The lever is connected to a flywheel C, which is connected to the rotary receptacle shaft through the gears p, p<1>, by a link G, pivoted to the lever and connected to the flywheel. A notch f in the quadrant allows the lever to be raised off its pivot so that the head of the lever may be below the top of the tub &c. A so that a table cover can be placed thereon.
