Abstract

214,949. Romig, R. H. April 27, 1923. [Convention date]. Clips, spring-wire.- A clip for holding bundles of banknotes comprises a single length of spring-wire bent to form a looped body portion 1 with parallel sides and a clamping arm 4 of the same width as, but inclined at an angle to, the body portion. The arm 4 is formed by bending the free end of the wire upon itself in a U-shape. The body portion carries a plate 2 having marked thereon the value of the notes, the sides of the plate being flanged at 3 and bent over the parallel sides of the body portion 1.
