Abstract

213,798. Bamford, J., and Bamford, C. J. May 22, 1923. Addition to 188,134. Haymaking.-In a swath-turner or side rake of the type described in the parent Specification, in which units comprising two or more tines are free to rise and fall together in accordance with the contour of the ground, the tines are constructed separately from each other and are detachably secured to form a unit of two or more. The tines 1, 2 are made separately and are each provided with an eye 3 at one end by which they may be secured to a separate pivot member 4. Bolts 5 pass through the eyes 3 on the tines and corresponding eyes on the pivot member. In a modification, the pivot member is formed integral with one of the tines.
