Tracing-appliances.-An educational drawing- device comprises a number of picture sheets 1 - - 6, Fig. 3, having parts of pictures on each sheet printed in register so that a complete picture can be re-drawn upon transparent paper held in fixed relation to the picture sheets. The sheets are provided with binding apertures 25 and in the preferred form are bound in a. cover 11, Fig. 1, a tracing-pad 12 being detachably secured by fasteners 14 to the outer edge of the cover. Each part of a picture on different sheets is provided with an index mark to facilitate tracing; in Fig. 3 the index comprises the letters a - - d. Instead of turning the picture sheets over in book fashion, they may be mounted to slide or rotate. Picture sheets dealing with geography, portrait work, and animal study are mentioned. Advertisements may be printed on the tracing-pad.
