Abstract

212,499. Kerman, L. M. Oct. 15, 1923. Cases combined with thread reels.-A tubular needle case A is fitted into the bore of a thread reel G and is held therein by a pivoted bridging-piece C at one end of the reel and a spring F disposed between a shoulder D fixed on the case and a washer E loosely mounted thereon and abutting against the other end of the reel. The spring allows the case to be fitted to reels of various lengths and by pushing the case down against the action of the spring, the piece C drops into a vertical position and the case may be removed from the reel.
