Abstract

212,119. Hodgkinson, T. H., and Hepworth, F. N. March 12, 1923. Lids.-Hinged lids are attached to con tainers, e.g. of meta or celluloid, without making apertures ir the bodies or lids by forming on one side a, Fig. 1, of the box a flap divided into three parts b, c, d which are bent out wards along the line e, f, and of which the parts b, d are embossed at g to hold and form stops for a hinge pin. The lid h, Fig. 3, has a flap i bent inwards along the line j, k to form a barrel in which the hinge pin lies.
