Abstract

212,080. Freeman, M. Feb. 19, 1923. Capillary-action lubricating.-The journal 13 of a trolly wheel 11 is lubricated by a wick 16 passing through a bore in the journal and dripping into an oil reservoir 12 formed in one or both of the jaws 15 of the harp, the nick being retained in contact with the bearing surface of the wheel by means of a coiled spring 17 wound on the wick. A pin 18 is inserted in the spring, the head of the pin resting against a cap 19. If both jaws 15 are formed with oil chambers, they are connected by a pipe 23.
