Description

SPECIFICATION Dissemblable kitchen chair The present invention provides a dissemblable kitchen chairthe novel construction ofwhich enables itto be easily assembled even by a non expert person, which thus permits the despatch, of the separate parts forming the chair, to long distances in a package of extremely reduced dimensions.
According to the present invention a dissemblable kitchen chair comprises a seat plate, a backrest plate, a pair of front legs, and a pair of back legs, the seat plate being fixed by means of brackets to the front legs and rear legs, and the backrest plate being fixed by screws to the back legs, enabling the chair to be assembled even buy a non expert person.
In a preferred construction, the brackets are of the kind set forth in the specification and drawings of Italian Patent Application No. 64213/B/82filed on 2nd February 1982 by the Applicant herein.
An embodiment of kitchen chair in accordance with the invention is hereinafter particularly described with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein: Figure lisa perspectiveviewoftheassembled chair; Figure 2 is an elevation ofthe parts of the chair, seen in separated condition.
As can be seen in figure 1 the chair has a seat plate 1 and a backrest plate 2,the seat plate 1 being fixed to the front legs 3 and to the back legs 4 by means of brackets 5, the backrest plate 2 being fixed directly to the upper part of the legs 4 extending abovetheseat plate 1.
The separate parts forming the chair are to be seen in figure 2, and in particularthe brackets 5 correspond to the type already described in our Italian Patent Application No. 64213/B/82filed on 2nd February 1982.
In particular, two screws are sufficient to fix the brackets 5 to the legs 3 and 4, whilst six screws are necessaryfor the fixing of each bracket 5 to the seat plate 1.
The screws are generally provided with an opposed threaded counter member, which facilitates fixing even by a non expert person with a simple screw driver.
There will clearly be seen the advantages which are obtained with the adoption ofthechairofthe present invention, thegreat simplicity of construction of which, togetherwiththeemploymentoftheconnecting brackets forming the subjectofthe abovementioned Italian PatentApplication, enable itto be assembled even by a non expert person, which permits despatch to long distances of the separate parts packaged in an extremely limited space.
