Abstract
An electric machine comprises a polyphase armature winding (6), a superconducting inductor (4) and a polyphase compensating winding (3) composed of sections (10). Each phase of the winding (3) is connected, through a sliding contact, to one of the phases of the armature winding (6). Sections (10) include the conductors of all the phases and each phase of the winding (3) is connected to a separate rectifier (14, 15, 16) ensuring a unidirectional current in each of them.
