Abstract

Bath-tub of which a side wall having an opening which extends on its entire height and which is provided with a moving sealing panel (2) provided with locking means (14, 17) which are accessible in a closing position both from the outside and from the inside of the bath-tub, characterized in that the location and the width of the opening of the side wall (3) of the bath-tub are such that said opening exposes, by the bath side, substantially all of the seat (1) as well as the major part of the bottom (5) of the bath, and in that the space swept by the moving closure panel (2) is completely outside the space delimited by the inner faces of the bath, while the locking means (14) of the moving closure panel (2) are accessible from the seat (1) of the bath.
