Abstract

207,336. Puckert, E. W. Oct. 16, 1922. Belts.-In a link driving belt, pulley engaging members 1, of elastic material such as rubber shaped to required cross-section, are tubular in form, enclosing plates 2 arranged in pairs with pivot holes 3 at each end to provide for connection to intermediate links 4 with studs 5 at each end, the pivotal connections being maintained solely by the elasticity of the tubes 1. The plates 2 as shown are formed with enlarged ends to retain the tubes 1 in position and are bell mouthed to facilitate insertion of the links 4.
