Silos.-Metal plates for silos are formed with interlocking inverted channels on their two horizontal edges 3 so that the edge of each plate is located in the base of the channel of the adjacent plate. The ends are also provided with interlocking channels 7, 8, or are so arranged that the joints are masked by the external support. The joints are so arranged that no upstanding ledges are formed and they may be made good with suitable packing. Specification 198,940 is referred to.
