206,319. Sphinx Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Corbin, D. H. Sept. 29, 1922. Sparking-plugs. - A set of mica washers 4 is secured within the casing by end pressure exerted on a ring 5 which is simultaneously expanded into a groove 6. Internally this insulation is bored so as to form a shoulder which acts as a seating for the removable central electrode 10 and its surrounding insulation 9. A sleeve 11 is compressed about the insulation 9 and may fit within the casing, the outer end of which may be turned over; or, preferably, the sleeve fits within a gland nut 12 and is secured in position by expanding the inner end in forming the indentation 13.
