Description

SPECIFICATION Swimming aid, aqua bottle This invention relates to a swimming aid for use by bathers.
According to the invention, such an aid comprises of a moulded cylindrical block of expanded polystyrene, a nylon webbed belt which extends through the block and means for securing the belt together around the body of the wearer.
The accompanying drawing is a view of the swimming aid according to the invention.
In the illustration, the swimming aid comprises of a single cylindrical block of moulded expanded polystyrene of between 8 grams/litre and 160 grams/ litre density manufactured by the expanded polystyrene processing method as a single unit shown by the letter A. Each unit may be coloured if necessary with a variety of colours by the application of a dye added in the moulding process.
Through the centre of each cylindrical block is passed a nylon webbing belt B. which passes around the stomach or diaphragm of the wearer as shown at C. such a belt is afixed to the wearer by the means of a buckle shown at D. the belt is secured to the unit.
1. A moulded cylindrical block of expanded polystyrene through which is passed a nylon webbing belt which is affixed rigidly to the unit and which belt is affixed to the wearer by means of a buckle.
2. A swimming aid substantially as described by reference to the accompanying drawing.
