Joints and connections.- The frame members of a bed. stead are connected by a pin and keyhole slot connection, the slot being formed in the face of a metal shell or casing which is recessed in one frame member and is secured there. in by a diametrically disposed bar. A cylindrical casing b has diametrically - opposed slots in its wall which hold a normally bent bar h with pointed ends i. The casing is inserted in a recess e in the frame member f and the keyhole aperture in the front face a of the casing admits a punch or similar tool whereby the bar may be straigihtened into the position shown in Fig. 3 to hold the casing in place.
