Abstract

Metal polishes are obtained by mixing, in for example the proportions specified, 3 1/2 oz. of graphite, shale, or aluminium, 3 1/2 oz. of clay and water mixed to a cream, and 1/2 oz. of a solution of 2 parts of stearine or oleine in 5 parts of white spirit.
