Abstract

204,074. Dadant, H. C. March 24, 1922. Beehives. - In a honeycomb sheeting 2 is supported in a frame 1 and reinforced' by rods or wires 3 extending across the frame and having shoulders or projections capable of supporting the comb. The rods are anchored at one end to the frame 1 and at the other end are gripped between the frame and a bar 1<a>. The wires mav be waved either in sinuous line as shown or in lines which follow the form of the cells, or may be replaced by flat or round notched wires or intertwisted wires or round wires with irregularly arranged pins thereon, the ends being looped, bent up or similarlv fashioned to facilitate attachment to the frame.
