Abstract

204,015. Bõr, J., (Assignee of Walker, 0.). Sept. 14, 1922, [Convention date]. Detecting faults.- An electric pocket lamp 1 is provided with two contacts 3, 6 against which the ends of the fuse 7 to be tested are placed. If the fuse is intact the circuit is completed through the lamp. To allow fuses of different lengths to be tested the contact 6 is extensible and consists of a flexible steel band which is normally coiled up by a spring within a drum 4. One of the battery terminals engages with the central contact of the lamp the other being in contact with the band 6. The contact 3 is fixed to the casing with which the screw threaded contact of the lamp engages.
