Abstract
A granular acidified calcium phosphate fertilizer has at least 85% by weight of the particles having a particle size of 0.5 - 4 mm, a total P2O5 content of at least 30% with 50 - 80% of the P2O5 citrate soluble and 30 - 55% of the P2O5 water soluble. It may be made without the need for granulation by mixing phosphate rock particles of less than 4 mm size and at least 40% of which are 0.5 - 4 mm size with at least 45% (as P2O5) phosphoric acid in a weight ratio of particles to acid of 2-4:1.
