Abstract

A brush-holder comprises a sleeve 10, formed from flat material, preferably sheet brass. Fastening tabs 12, 13, 14 are arranged opposite one another on the sleeve and project from the outer surface of the sleeve to mount the sleeve on an insulated carrier 15. At least the outer surface of the sleeve located between the mutually oppositely located fastening tabs is formed by flaps 17, 18, 19 which complement one another to form a continuous wall surface. All of the tabs and flaps and the remaining walls of the holder are formed from a single stamping of the flat material, there being further a bent over flap 27 for supporting a spring. <IMAGE>
