Abstract

A device for collecting condensate from a window pane consists of an elongate trough adjacent the lower edge of the pane. The trough rests on the window frame or a glazing bar. A ledge 10, 14 is provided integral with the trough or with a strip attached to the glass, the ledge directing the flow of condensate into the body of the trough. The trough may be manufactured in long strips and cut to length for use at a window, and the ends of the trough blocked by end walls. In use the trough may require periodic emptying using a cloth or a specially provided pipette. <IMAGE>
