Abstract

Spring seating includes a base frame C and a superimposed seat frame E. The seat frame E is supported at the front by coil springs G and at the back by a resilient slab or slabs H, which may have as a whole a resilience which is greater than that of the coil springs G. The resilience of the slab or slabs may be chosen to suit the weight of persons likely to use the seating, and the provision of such slabs eliminates the noise of springs at the rear of the seating. <IMAGE>
