Abstract

In a press for citrus and other fruit the pressing cone 12 which performs an oscillatory rotation is driven by a synchronous motor 14 via a reduction gear 16-19. Furthermore, there is provided a stop device 25, which stalls the synchronous motor 14 in both directions of rotation after a specific number of revolutions, the direction of rotation of the synchronous motor being reversed automatically. <IMAGE>
