Abstract

202,017. Brock, E. R. May 8, 1922. Roller-blinds are made in three easily-detachable parts including two end sockets 12, 23 of similar size and shape to be secured on the window frame. These sockets have cylindrical chambers 15, 25 with open ends facing each other, and smaller cylindrical bearing-sockets 17, 28. The ends of a window-blind roller 11 have circular flanges 22, 30 which close and turn in the open ends of the chambers 15, 25. The roller is turned by an endless cord 34, and the blind is held in any position by a flat spring 19 secured to one end of the roller and bearing against the inner surface 14 of the cylindrical chamber, 15. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 3477/76, 1144/86, and 14439/96.
