Abstract

An indicating device for indicating the amount of liquified gas in a gas container (11) is disposed in a gas heater and comprises a pivoted platform (12) for receiving the container (11) thereon, resilient means (18) acting on the platform in opposition to the weight of the container, and an indicator (20) controlled by movement of the platform (12), the weight of the container (11) with its contents therefore being used to control the indicator (20) and thus provide an indication of the quantity of the liquified gas within the container (11). <IMAGE>
