Abstract

A brush-holder for an electrical machine has a guide sleeve (10) for receiving the carbon brush (12), and a cap (11) supporting the helical brush spring (13); the cap (11) has guide tabs (14) which overlap the helical spring externally; and the guide sleeve (10) and the cap (11) are releasably interconnected by means of at least one plug-in fastener (17) comprising plug-in parts (15,16) on the guide sleeve and cap. The plug- in fastener shown comprises two flat plug tongues (20) and two flat sockets (21). <IMAGE>
