Abstract

A blank for a cardboard or like box e.g. for packaging reels of magnetic tape in containers includes two symmetrical portions (7, 8) which, after being folded about the line of symmetry (6), are glued together to define a hanger tab, a crease (3) acting as a hinge being provided between the side wall (4) and the hanger tab, so that the hanger tab can be moved about the edge of the box through an angle of 270 DEG . Apertures (14) facilitate hanging and a portion (13) may be torn out of the box along perforations (12), an aperture (11) facilitating such tearing. <IMAGE>
