Abstract

The invention relates to a method for fixing a flexible pipe 5 on a rigid tube 1, according to which the end of the tube 1 is provided with a reinforcement, and the end of the pipe is fitted on the said end of the tube 1 so that the end edge 8 of the pipe 5 is disposed beyond the reinforcement with respect to the end edge 4 of the tube 1. The reinforcement is made by fixing on the end of the tube a ring 9 which is initially separate from this tube and which, after having been fixed, projects radially with respect to the outer periphery of the tube 1. One application of the invention is the making of connections not subjected to untimely uncoupling to which end the pipe 5 may be held by a clamp 10. <IMAGE>
