Abstract

A twin-wheel castor has a moulded body (3) with a through bearing bore (6) in which stub axles (4,5) of twin moulded wheels (1,2) are received. The axes (4,5) have circumferential grooves (7,8) respectively engaged by two axially-spaced circumferential series of internal body projections (9,10) moulded within the through bore (6) of the body (3). The projections (9,10) are arranged with the two series thereof angularly staggered so that in axial projection no two projections (9,10) overlap. The engagement of the projections (9,10) with the axle grooves (7,8) provides positive retention of the wheels (1,2) with snap-on assembly thereof to the body (3). <IMAGE>
