Abstract

A liquid metering and temperature control system for providing through a liquid conduit a metered quantity of liquid at a predetermined temperature. A pump (18) pumps liquid through the conduit from a selected one of two as more liquid supplies of different temperature, electrical pulses (62) being generated in accordance with volume flow through the conduit and summed in an integrating device (52). Upon the summation reaching a first reference level, the first selected liquid supply is changed and, upon the summation reaching a second reference level, the pump is de- energised and all liquid supplies cut- off. The integrating device has a variable slope to enable preselection of the volume of liquid which passes before the second reference level is attained. <IMAGE>
