Abstract

The pump body is built from components made of dissimilar materials and an element, e.g. leaf springs 10, capable of undergoing resilient displacement is positioned between a fixed body part 4 and another part 7 made of a different material such as to permit differential movement to occur between those parts whilst maintaining a controlled force between them. <IMAGE>
