Abstract
U.V.-curable compounds of low viscosity are prepared by reacting hexamethoxymethyl melamine with from 2 to 4 moles of hydroxy compound, comprising 1 to 4 moles of a monohydroxy compound prepared from equimolar amounts of a glycidyl alkanoate and acrylic acid, with optionally up to 2 moles of hydroxyethyl acrylate and/or up to 0.5 mole of a polyalkylene glycol.
