Abstract

A device for securing an article over a radiator 19 has a resilient gripping leg 11 inserted downwards into the space between the radiator and the wall 20 so as to exert a gripping force between the radiator and wall. The device may have a second rigid leg 9 which engages the wall to hold the shelf against tilting. The rigid leg 9 may have a horizontal limb 8 to which the gripping leg is connected by an adjustable pin 14 and slot 15 connection. The fastening device is pivotally mounted on a pivot rod 5 to allow it to be stowed. <IMAGE>
