Abstract

A connector for joining a tubular member 24 to a support which can be a second tubular member 22. The connector comprises an expandable spigot 12 which is fixedly secured to the support to extend within the end of the tubular member. With the tubular member located on the spigot, the spigot is expanded into locking engagement with the interior of the tubular member. Expansion can be achieved by means of a screw 28 engaging in a slot in the spigot, the screw being accessible from the exterior of the tubular member. <IMAGE>
