Abstract

Manufactured blocks which are uniform in design for bunker revetting. The blocks may be provided with slits 1 that make them pliable and may be formed of a material that is resistant to the elements, golf balls, golf clubs and animals. The blocks may be provided with markings 2 that act as a placement guide to assist a user in construction of a bunker. The blocks may have holes 3 in them to allow root development of plants grown over the blocks. The depth of the block may be deeper in some places to provide raised edges 4 that in use retain backfill material (6, Fig 5) such as soil or sand on the blocks.
